Only obviously things are the wheels and the paintwork. There must be other issues, maybe rust.

If that price is correct then its either not a genuine M coupe or a complete shed.

Very tempting but i suspect it need lots of money put into it.

A dashboard picture usually shows the engine running.

I suspect it needs welding and rust sorting, as well as engine problems.

I've never seen rust on top of the suspension turrets before. If there's rust there, there's bound to be rust elsewhere.

One rusty M is enough for me, but if I had a workshop, or guaranteed good weather, I'd take the gamble.

Heater matrix leaking and no heating in the cabin, or worse still (if you want air-con), air con cabin evaporator knackered.

Now - that would be a project.

Well, it’s sold. I can stop dreaming about it now.

Could be a good project for someone, depends what they find under the cover sills etc. Even the inner sills can be repaired though by a good fabricator. Be interesting to see if the buyer turns up on any of the forums to see how things progress with a restoration project.

It only needs repaired if the next buyer sees the faults .

A £20k profit is awaiting an unscrupulous dealer .
