Sticky steering on my 2005 Z4 automatic

Hello. I am a new member with a query. My 2005 Z4 (69000) has developed sticky/notchy steering when the car
has done about 30 miles and is warmed up. Happens quicker when the weather is warm. Any ideas re. the cause and how I might resolve it?

Hi Brain a few years ago I did an article on how to solve this. Under the dash where the electric motor connects to the column there is an adjustment ring this is what needs adjusting. Have a read of the following thread.
