How To Guide Repairing Z3 floor mats

Now I can't take all the credit for this as someone asked me for the heel mat out of the 2.2 that I broke but can't remember who it was, so thats where this idea sprng from, they didn't say why they wanted it but this is more then likely,
I had an old set of spare mats and the drivers side was past its best so I had a bit of a play today
Think the pics are pretty self explanatory, its been clamped and left over the weekend, one thing worth mentioning is that I clamped it and removed the excess glue as it squeezed out of the edges and then reclamped it.

Forgot to add this one, its a mastic adhesive that stays flexible

I left it over the weekend and it has bonded really well, feels a little stiff though
