I have. Remove everything so that you can get to it. I cleaned mine with a very soft copper wire brush, tooth brush size, and some cleaning fluid. I think I used cellulose thinners as I had an old tin of the stuff in the garage. The hard bit is getting everything apart if it hasn't been stripped before
Thanks for that,I was hoping there was some magic spray on the market that I didn't know about, so strip down it is, I should have known better really because every thing so far has been strip down, thanks again
I suppose it depends how bad it is. If it's not too bad you might be able to get to it with a squirty tube from an aerosol cleaner like WD40 or brake cleaner. Mine wasn't too bad to be honest but I gave it a good clean to be sure my ABS fault wouldn't come back for the sake of a good thorough clean
Don't get too hung up on the cleanliness of ABS rings. You might be surprised how they work even with very heavy corrosion on them or totally blocked with mud. However if you get a crack in one the sensor will pick that up as you come to a stop.
